Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Letterlays (the "Service"), purchasing font software or graphic overlay packages, or using the Letterlays Studio in-browser design tool, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Merchant of Record & Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you make a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

3. Digital Products & Licensing

All fonts, typography files, and graphic overlays delivered via Letterlays are digital assets licensed, not sold, to you under perpetual terms:

Font products are governed by the applicable Font License Agreement (EULA) selected at checkout (Desktop/Creator, Webfont, E-publishing, or App & Game).
Letter overlay collections are governed by the Asset Creator Commercial License.
Redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or extraction of raw font or graphic assets is strictly prohibited.

4. Account Registration & Security

User authentication and account management are securely powered by Clerk. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Studio Tool & Browser Performance

Letterlays Studio runs client-side in your browser. While we optimize performance across standard modern desktop browsers, rendering speed depends on your hardware capabilities. Watermark-free high-resolution rendering requires an active license.

6. Refunds & Cancellations

Because our assets are delivered immediately as downloadable digital files, standard refund rights are subject to our Refund Policy. Defective files that cannot be repaired, accidental duplicate purchases, and unauthorized transactions are eligible for refund review.

7. Intellectual Property

Letterlays and all design assets, font source code, logos, visual textures, and the Letterlays mascot are the exclusive intellectual property of Pavel Pokataev / Letterlays, protected by copyright and international intellectual property treaties.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service and all digital assets are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. In no event shall Letterlays or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our assets.
